EFMP UK Partners Field Sales Solutions PROUD winners of a golden hattrick at FMBE awards 2020.


EFMP UK partners Field Sales Solutions are extremely proud to have been shortlisted for 11 awards across 9 categories, including Agency of the Year, at the much-coveted Field Marketing & Brand Experience (FMBE) Awards ceremony held on January 29th, 2021. Despite this year’s event being held virtually, it remained a highlight in the industry diary. Agencies gathered for a ‘live’ online ceremony in which they shared the successes from across the field sales landscape and competed once again for the prestigious FMBE award titles.

The 2020 Awards was an opportunity for the agencies to not only showcase their successes but to demonstrate the resilience, ingenuity and grit that helped them to deliver success after a year that has challenged the sector like no other. What became evident from the start of the ceremony was that this was a year to proudly recognise those agencies who had navigated these challenges with their people at the very heart of their delivery.

For Field Sales Solutions this was a year where their people, performance and partnerships were at the forefront of their success. They had nominations in categories such as, ‘Team of the Year’, and had  three Brand  Ambassadors in consideration for the ‘Brand  Ambassador of the Year’ award, as well as having their Professional Agency Management throughout the pandemic  recognised, which was a highly rewarding accolade in itself. 

Amongst the 7 FMBE Awards and 3 Special Awards won by Field Sales Solutions, the sweetest success was the recognition of their incredible field teams. The 2020 awards also saw them clinch a golden hattrick of awards, including the highly acclaimed ‘Team of the Year’ for P&G, and ‘Most Effective Instore Marketing Campaign’ and ‘ Most Effective Display’, for their premium Peroni distribution campaign.

Awards on the night included:

GOLD Awards

Team of Year (P&G) – Gold:  This is a category entered by most leading field sales teams in the UK, so  winning this prestigious and highly competitive category is very noteworthy,  particularly in the most challenging year that retail has experienced in recent memory.  It signifies the resilience, exceptional implementation and optimal results that this team  is able to achieve and affirms  its position as a leader within the field marketing arena for instore field marketing.                                        

Most Effective Instore Marketing Campaign (Peroni) – Gold: Field Sales Solutions won gold for their Asahi (Peroni) sales drive with a difference in which they launched a premium Peroni distribution drive across the UK, driving sales through an Italian style convoy and using retailer engagement tools. The campaign won in the ‘Most Effective Instore Marketing’ category in recognition of all the elements that made the launch so successful.  This included the use of Augmented reality which was used to advertise the product and to aid in visualising chiller units and displays. This award recognised  Field Sales Solutions for their expert implementation and focus on innovation.

Most Effective Stand or Display (Peroni) – Gold:  This was another award for the Asahi (Peroni) campaign. This time for the partnership and collaboration with specialist ‘chiller’ provider, Coolio,  for the bespoke slimline pop-up chiller designed to facilitate the cooling requirements for the Peroni sales campaign. This achieved 212% ‘chiller’ sell through, in excess of the target set.                                      The gold award presented in this category showcased the importance of partnership and innovation to deliver results.      

Silver and Bronze Awards                         

Field Sales Solution went on to win a further 2 FMBE awards for the Asahi (Peroni) sales drive.                                                         

Best Product Launch/Relaunch of the Year’ (Peroni) – Silver

‘Most Effective Tactical Campaign, Service Led’ (Peroni) – Bronze

To win one award for a campaign is an achievement but to win 4 was absolutely testament to a campaign that shows best in class implementation, insightful interventions, and proven results, particularly as they were up against some very experienced players.

However, it did not stop there, more awards followed:

Professional Agency Management – Silver: This award was  heavily focused on how the business responded to the pandemic in the way that they communicated with, cared for, and protected their employees.

This award demonstrated the strength of the PROUD people and processes of Field Sales Solutions.

Agency of the Year – Bronze: Field Sales Solutions also proudly held onto a podium position for Agency of the Year, winning Bronze.  They have now been in the top 3 podium positions for the last 4 years, winning Gold twice!

3 Special Commendation Awards were made for the 3 Field Sales Solutions field staff nominated in the category – ‘Brand Ambassador of the Year’: An award they have won for the last 5 consecutive years.
