EFMP UK Partner, Field Sales Solutions, has achieved a remarkable milestone of attaining its carbon neutral status a mere 24 months after launching the business’ 5-year Environmental Agenda. The Employee-owned agency with over 500 fulltime staff reached this significant goal 3 years ahead of schedule.
Field Sales Solutions initially conducted a verified appraisal of their CO2 emissions across 2020-21, identifying major carbon sources within the business and a footprint of 1693 tCO2e.
Through a combination of carbon offset projects, including the use of solar power, reduced deforestation programs, and small hydro power developments, as well as by planting over a thousand trees, and making generous tree donations across the UK, to clients, friends, and nature reserves, they managed to attain carbon neutral status, which was verified by the Environmental Management body, Carbon Footprint Ltd., at the end of 2021.

The team at Field Sales Solutions will now look to set a new Carbon Neutral PLUS Agenda. This will detail how staff, clients, and suppliers can make this a key business priority by improving their ways of working together in partnership to sustainably reduce future emissions, which will contribute towards attaining net zero carbon emissions.
