From "005 - Missione Territorio" to "Alla Corte di Acinque": Settimo Piano’s Expertise in Crafting Memorable Events for Acinque

This year, Acinque, a prominent multi-utility company in the Italian energy market, chose EFMP Italian Partner, Settimo Piano once again to organise its annual event. This ongoing collaboration highlights the strong relationship between the two organisations. The event, titled Alla Corte di Acinque, transported participants back to a medieval setting, creating an immersive experience that created a team spirit and a deeper connection to the Acinque brand.

Before exploring the details of this year's event, it is important to recall the success of last year’s 005 - Missione Territorio. Inspired by the iconic atmosphere of James Bond, this event offered participants a blend of adventure, team-building activities, and a celebration of local territory—values that Acinque places at the core of its identity. Set against the backdrop of Lake Como, participants transformed into secret agents, embarking on a treasure hunt aboard private boats between Como and Bellagio. The concept’s creativity and execution earned Missione Territorio 005 the Bronze Award at the 2023 Field Marketing and Brand Experience Awards in London, a recognition in the experiential marketing sector.

Building on this success, Acinque once again entrusted Settimo Piano with the organisation of its 2024 event, Alla Corte di Acinque. This year’s event further developed the immersive concept, with participants stepping back in time to the Middle Ages. Set in Jerago Castle in the Varese province, the event allowed 50 of Acinque’s top sales performers to become knights and archers, working together to defend a castle from an imaginary tyrant—a symbolic representation of the competitive challenges Acinque faces in its market. The medieval theme, chosen to reflect the brand’s connection to the local territory, encouraged cooperation and fostered a sense of belonging among participants.

The two-day event began with a corporate kick-off where top performers were recognised for their achievements, including Settimo Piano, which received the "Best Partner" award. Following this, participants changed into medieval costumes and were transported to Jerago Castle. There, they took part in team-building activities involving castle defence and assault, working together to overcome the metaphorical competition represented by the tyrant. The day concluded with a medieval-themed dinner in the castle’s main hall, accompanied by performances from a theatre company and historical reenactors, including flag throwers, falconers, and jesters. The evening ended with an after-party at a nearby hotel, providing a chance for participants to socialise, relax, and enjoy themselves.

The second day featured a motivational speech from Maurizia Cacciatori, an Italian volleyball legend. Cacciatori shared her experiences and insights, focusing on teamwork and determination, which align with Acinque’s core values. Her presence added an extra dimension to the event, reflecting Acinque’s commitment to supporting local sports organisations and promoting athletic values.

Feedback from participants after the event was positive, with many describing the experience as engaging, distinctive, and more than just a corporate gathering. The combination of team-building activities, entertainment, and motivational talks created an atmosphere that resonated with attendees. Participants reported feeling motivated and proud to be part of Acinque, and there was a notable increase in engagement and a drive to exceed past achievements. The overall event rating reached an average score of 9.19 out of 10, demonstrating its impact.

The success of both 005 - Missione Territorio and Alla Corte di Acinque highlights Settimo Piano’s ability to design and deliver creative, engaging events. These experiences not only strengthen team spirit but also reinforce a sense of connection to the brand, encouraging participants to work towards future goals with renewed enthusiasm. Settimo Piano continues to demonstrate its skill in crafting memorable events that leave a lasting impression on participants and enhance the company’s standing in the corporate events landscape.
