New Model Of Virtual Promoter Entertained Visitors In A Prague Shopping Mall

ppm factum´s Virtual Promoter proves how effective it is to digitalize a point of sale!
In the first half of October a corridor in Prague Nový Smíchov shopping mall sounded with a loud knocking. „Where is the knocking coming from?“ the people passing along were asking and turning their heads around.
 Soon they found out. The loud sound came from a new Virtual Promoter called INCA, a flat screen in UltraHD resolution, a new compact and mobile solution that combines a modern look with functions of a gesture-control interactive guide.
The Virtual Promoter was located in Nový Smíchov shopping centre that is one of the most attractive and frequented shopping malls in Prague. The device was placed in a wide corridor on the ground floor that is very busy from morning till night.
The VP implementation took place between Oct 3rd and 18th 2017 and had two chief goals – to  present an application Crestyl, one of Czech leading developers, and to show the shopping centre visitors the new Virtual Promoter design and consequently measure their interest.
The application was made completely by ppm factum team and fulfilled all the rules such a device requires. First of all a male promoter drew attention of passers-by by the loud knocking sound, that symbolizes a stopping power. The guide attracted them to come closer and explained them how to control the device. Then he challenged the users to browse through the app that introduced four current housing projects in Prague and its surroundings, showed details about location, attractive images of the buildings and the apartments´ interiors.
The Virtual Promoter excited a great interest among the customers. Based on the Smart Data we know that during the activity period almost 5 300 persons stopped by the Promoter for more than 5 seconds , out of which 25 % participated in the application actively. These active users spent at the Virtual Promoter almost 80 seconds on average, which is a very significant impact. Both the customers and the client evaluated the activity very positively and we believe other Czech and Slovak clients will have other opportunities to try the Virtual Promoter soon.
