25 Years of Option1. Pioneering Field Marketing in Poland.

In 1999, when field marketing was still in its infancy in Poland, Beata Bojarska and Piotr Kustosz founded Option1, an agency headquartered in Warsaw. Over the next two decades, the company not only navigated the challenges of an emerging market but also secured a position among Poland’s top five field marketing agencies, generating revenues exceeding 60 million PLN in 2022.  

The first five years proved crucial for building brand awareness within the FMCG and IT sectors. Gaining the trust of clients was no small task, but Option1 distinguished itself through its expert approach and high-quality project delivery. Early milestones included a seven-year collaboration with Procter & Gamble, which involved managing over 300 merchandisers across 500 retail stores throughout Poland. Another breakthrough project was the promotion of Grand Turismo and Pepsi Mirinda for Sony PlayStation, featuring dynamic tournaments in shopping centres. This exciting roadshow attracted considerable consumer engagement and solidified Option1’s reputation.  

Over its 25-year history, Option1 has serviced over 100 brands, including globally recognised names, accumulating invaluable expertise and establishing solid financial foundations. Today, the agency is renowned as an excellent employer, with over 260 staff on permanent contracts and a field team of approximately 1,600 collaborators. The company’s network of thirteen Area Managers enables full nationwide coverage, reaching any location across Poland. Investments in IT systems for operational management and reporting have been key to improving project efficiency and enhancing field team performance monitoring.  

From its inception, Option1 has prioritised building long-term relationships with clients. This strategy has enabled the agency to adapt its service offerings to meet evolving market demands, with loyal customers forming the cornerstone of its success. As the field marketing industry continues to evolve, Option1 remains focused on implementing new technologies to optimise field operations.
