Barnängen - Swedish quality at Czech stores


For the Barnängen brand, ppm factum have just prepared and implemented a promotion campaign that gave customers a chance to test high-quality Swedish natural cosmetics on their own skin and support substantially sales at the points of sale.

The Barnängen brand within the Henkel Cosmetics Group has been writing its history since 1868, when it was founded in Stockholm. The brand's ideology is based on the Swedish composed lifestyle of Lagom. The products are balanced and based on natural ingredients.

Currently these products are being introduced to the Czech and Slovak Republics. We were very proud to have a part in the program and the ability to secured massive sales support throughout the drugstore networks. 

As Jirí Král of ppm says: “Our goal was to bring to our stores a touch of product exceptionality and that is why we chose a more challenging display stand made of recycled cardboard.”

 For these events we have prepared for the “Ambassadors” a special training program “Hostess as Brand Ambassador”, where the objective of the workshop was to train hostesses both professionally in product knowledge, as well as in basic communication and sales skills.

The theme of Swedish Lagom lifestyle has permeated all communication. Our activities have greatly relied on ATL and digital campaign.

At the stores, we enabled our customers to try out the new Barnängen product line. We also provided samples for testing at home.

The activity was very well received not only by customers but was also welcomed by representatives of the drugstore networks, where the event was primarily conducted. The sales results exceeded expectations. Thanks to meeting our goals, the new brand has very quickly established itself in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and has gained a fundamental position in the branded cosmetics category.
