FMI award winning team sets the mark


The Annual Irish Sales Champion Awards is a highly competitive and much revered event in the awards calendar. It celebrates the unrelenting determination, resourcefulness and commitment of the men and woman working in sales in Ireland. For sales professionals the focus on winning is in their blood and the awards are no exception. The only thing more satisfying than doing a good job, is being  recognised for it in front of peers and competitors. 

The Irish  Sales Champion Awards, now in its 9th year, acknowledges all those who played  an active role in their organisation’s sales success in the previous year  – this includes Agents, Managers,  Sales Teams, Support Teams, Campaign Creators, Outsource Partners, Consultants / Sales Advisors, Trainers, and Technology Providers. 

FMI submitted 3 entries and took home 2 awards on the night! 

We are fortunate to work with an incredible team of people and  2 exceptional team members were  acclaimed as winners in the following categories. 

Champion Field Sales Manager Winner – Pete Freeman

At FMI we believe that without good leadership it is impossible for a team to achieve its goals or grow and develop. At the pinnacle of this structure for our sales teams is the Sales Manager.

Pete Freeman, who works on our Electric Ireland ‘Door to Door’ sales campaign across Dublin, is a sales manager at FMI. He takes on a huge amount of responsibility, not just for achievement of KPI’s but also for coaching, developing, and mentoring his team members. Pete is extremely hands on and has a genuine vested interest in the people with whom he works, as well as in the numbers.  Pete  has a huge amount of experience in the energy and telco sectors, he has worked across both residential and commercial sales, and across various agencies and companies. His whole approach is centred around the people on his team and their personal development and journey, and this has translated into business profitability and successs. He is an extremely worthy winner of this award and we are delighted that his hard work has been recognised, not only by FMI, but by the industry as a whole.

Field Sales Champion  Winner – Seamus O’Flynn

At FMI we look for two core attributes when recruiting Field Sales agents. Firstly, we look for a great attitude,  as we believe that this affects everything that we do, whether it is working territory correctly, being resilient, or having a desire to achieve goals.  Secondly, we look for emotional intelligence. This enables empathy, allows the agent to build relationships quickly, and it instills trust in those that they encounter every day. Seamus O’Flynn demonstrates both of these attributes in abundance. He is a rare find in that he has demonstrated both high levels of dedication, having worked with FMI for over 5 years,  as well as an exceptional level of performance. We are proud to have  him in our team; he absolutely deserved this award and recognition for his hard work and commitment.

FMI are immensely proud of both Pete Freeman and Seamus O’Flynn and congratulates them on their achievements!
