Option One executes audit of BP petrol stations in Poland


Option One - Field Marketing Agency has been in operation since 1999. Apart from its main activities such as Merchandising, Outsourcing Sales Force and In-Store Sampling, the agency also conducts Retail Audits.

In May 2019, Option One executed an audit project in over 300 BP petrol stations all over Poland. The objective was to catalogue existing and potential space for outdoor and indoor advertising at each of the stations. The entire process, including the development of the project details (specification of the audit questions, configuration of the reporting system, selection of auditors, logistics) was carried out in 14 days.

Option One auditors used a mobile reporting system that captured the answers to questions and photos taken. The audit helped to determine the possibilities of indoor and outdoor advertising at the petrol station (toppers, dispensers, posters, banners, stickers, screens, island displays, power wings, side frames, shelf stoppers).

The project was short and very dynamic. Thanks to the good coordination, smooth communication and a clear reporting system, it was completed within the agreed time.

Option One agency, an EFMP partner, conducts quantitative and qualitative audits at points of sale. These mostly concern retail prices of selected products (customers vs competition), share of shelf and on additional displays, out of stock products and the compliance of POS standards. The methodology of each project is agreed individually with the customer. Results can be presented in a form of a comprehensive report or can be supplied as a raw data file, depending on the customer preferences.
