Orchid was awarded SILVER in the “Team of the Year” category at the Field Marketing & Brand Experience (FM&BE) Awards in London on Tuesday 20th October 2016.
The award went to the Orchid “Storck Team” recognising the team’s flexibility and success in maximising return on investment (ROI) for the UK branch of the German confectionary business.
Orchid was facing a tough challenge: How to maximise return on investment for a highly seasonal business like Storck?
Orchid’s solution included a complete re-structure of the team to incorporate a mix of full-time and part-time territory executives requiring flexibility during the times of both peak seasonality and low sales activity.
Orchid and Storck’s strong working relationship and their commitment in ensuring the teams had all the tools, motivation and support required to work flexibly was the key to success.
The flexible team approach has allowed Storck UK to maximise their return on investment quickly and to deliver year on year improvements even at periods of low activity in store.
