Puma makes a big Impact on French running market

Puma wanted to re-energize its brand awareness within the French market. The strategy to increase sales and grow market share was to focus on building a network of Puma brand experts in specialist athletics and trainer stores throughout France.

To achieve this Puma teamed up with Impact Sales and Marketing who recruited and trained 50 fitness and sales enthusiast on the benefits of Puma running shoes. These recruits were deployed in stores across France to coach and train in-store sales people to passionately promote and sell Puma.

With a strong focus on training, the aim is to have Puma experts’ in-store who are knowledgeable and passionate about the brand. Customers will be enticed to buy Puma running shoes by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable recommendations made by the skilled sales team. The campaign has been a runaway success and has been extended for a further 6 months. Impact Sales & Marketing are well on target to triple Puma’s sales in the French market over the coming months.
