Settimo Piano create positive energy

Settimo Piano recently celebrated their first year of working with A2A, Italy’s leading multi-utility energy provider, by holding a  glamorous event which was hosted by well-known Italian celebrities and was attended by all employees and A2A’s management team. The event highlighted some of Settimo-Piano’s core values  which included the importance of their employees to the company,  the importance of the environment in which they work, and the special connection that they have with customers. 

The event, hosted by two of Italy’s best-known celebrities, namely, Marco Cattaneo, the Sky Sports presenter, and Alessandro ‘Billy’ Costacurta, one of Italy’s most famous footballers and former VP of the Italian Football Federation. Costacurta and Cattaneo presented their recently published book and handed out copies as gifts to  all participants. Settimo-Piano is committed to investing back into their community and all revenue from the books sold was donated by Costacurta and Cattaneo to ABIO, a charity looking after young kids who are hospital bound for long periods.

Settimo-Piano has more than 100 people working on A2A’s campaign every day in venues as varied as shopping malls, supermarkets, and temporary stores as well as hosting special events, and all of them were in attendance, with many of them nominated to win one of the awards up for grabs on the night. A2A’s Managing Director, Sales Director and Marketing Director were also a part of the event and were on stage handing out awards to the best performing employees. Settimo-Piano value the relationship they have with all their clients and through initiatives such as this one they form bonds that exceed the normal working relationship.

Settimo-Piano truly believes their value lies in their people, people are their greatest asset and they invest  in them accordingly. Holding onto the best people isn’t easy and Settimo-Piano  has introduced various social and team-building initiatives to develop and retain their people and to interact with their clients. One such initiative  was an internal Instagram competition that pitted the various sales teams against each other in a fun, competitive manner that created positive interactions and got the most out of the teams in a constructive way. All teams and the client benefitted from the competition and the winning team won an award on the night. The highlight of the evening was the award for the top performing sales person, the lucky and hardworking individual was rewarded with an all-inclusive trip outside of Italy. This award further emphasised the importance Settimo-Piano place on their people and the  creation of a positive work environment.
